How to take an online course.

1. Choose a course from the catalog. Once you find the course that you want to take roll the mouse over the course title and click on it. The reading material will appear.

2. After reading the course material, take the online test.

3. After submitting the exam an evaluation page will appear.

4. After submitting the evaluation the payment page will appear.

5. After the payment has been received the results and certificate will be issued immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions:

I received a blank page after submitting the test and evaluation

Occasionally the program will time-out during periods of inactivity. When this happens you will receive a blank page after submitting the exam and evaluation. The problem is easy to correct. You will need to close down the current test page entirely and open a new test page. You will need to resubmit the test and evaluation. The following page after the evaluation page will be the payment page. Once the payment has been received the results and certificate of completion will be issued immediately.

How do I access the course material?

On the home page you will see a link on the left side of the page (Course Catalog).  Click there to begin.  When you find a course that you would like to view, run your mouse over the course title and click on it.  There you will find each course in its entirety.  When you have read the course material and would like to take the exam, you will find links to the exam page on the top and bottom of the course material.  You will also find a link to the test material on the course catalog page.  Below each course description there is a link to the test material.

How do I take an exam?

On the course catalog page and on the course material page, you will find links to the test material.  The link found within the course material allows the exam to open in a new browser window.  Once you have submitted the test an evaluation page will appear. After filling in the evaluation you will be asked to submit the payment. The following screen will include the results and certificate of completion.

Is my test being timed?

You can take as much time as needed to complete the exam, however, if the test page remains open for more than 45 minutes the page may time out. After about 45 minutes of inactivity on the test page the server interprets this to mean the test taker has left the site. If you continue on you may receive a blank page after submitting the test and evaluation pages instead of receiving the payment page.. The way to fix this is to close down the current test page and open a new one.

How do I pay for the exam?

After you submit the exam, you will be asked to also submit an evaluation.  After the evaluation page you will be asked to login or register.  (Please see how to register below)  After you have logged in, you will be taken to a payment page.  We accept all major credit cards.  After you pay for the exam, you will be issued the results and the certificate of completion.

How do I register?

On the homepage click the register link on the left side of the page.  Fill out the registration form.

How many times can I take an Exam?

You can take the exam as many times as needed and only pay once. Unfortunately our site is programmed to give you two tries per payment. If you need more than two tries please email us or use our live help function. We will reset the program so that you will not be charged.

Ho do I retake the Exam?

You can retake the exam at any time.  If you would like to study and come back later, simply follow these steps when you return.  Go to the test page and complete the exam.  After the exam complete the evaluation.  The next page will ask you to login or register.  Go ahead and login.  After you login you will be issued the results and the certificate of completion.  (You will not be charged a second time).  If you fail the second time or register under a different name you will be charged.  If this happens, please let us know.  You can take the exam as many times as needed. Our program is set up to charge again after two failed tries. We will voided out any additional payments that come in so that you only pay once. Please be sure and let us know if this is the case.

I lost my certificate of completion

My printer is out of ink?  I need a copy of my certificate?  I want to view all of the courses I’ve completed:

Certificate of Completion:  If you have lost your certificate of completion and/or want to view your completed courses simply log in with your username and password. All completed certificates will be stored online indefinitely.  You can view and print your certificate from any computer.

Online/Interactive CE vs. Homestudy

The way a course is submitted after it is completed determines whether it can be counted as self-study or through Online/Interactive means.  If you complete the course electronically, and submit the results electronically, the hours can be considered as regular CE.  However, if you submit the completed course to the provider through the mail, these hours are considered self-study.

Receipts

You can obtain a receipt for the courses completed by logging in with your username and password from the homepage.  There you will find an option to print your certificate with a receipt.  The receipt will print below the certificate of completion.

Not yet licensed - No license number

In the license field on the registration page enter whatever you would like to show on the certificate of completion.  The following are some examples that you can substitute in the license field: (1) -- (2) 000 (3) Pre-licensure hours.

Multiple License Numbers

You can enter both license numbers in the license field: example: Mft2844 and Brn3466.  The certificate will print exactly as the information is entered.  Still not sure?  Email us with any questions.

Troubleshooting and Error Messages

Invalid Creditials Error Message

This means you have entered either the username or password incorrectly.  If you left spaces between characters when registering, you will need to do the same when you log-in.  (Your cap lock may be on) If you have forgotten both your username and password, email us by clicking here.  We will get back to you within the hour, if not minutes.  You can also obtain a lost password by going to the log-in page and clicking on Forgot password at the top of the page.  You will immediately be sent the password. (The most common login error is forgetting to enter a space between the first and last name when using your name as the login.)
